Professor Jan Borm, Director of the Malaurie Institute of Arctic Research Monaco-UVSQ, has been appointed Knight of the Order of the Legion of Honour ("Chevalier de l'Ordre de la Légion d'Honneur").
The ceremony took place on the occasion of the French National Day, the "14th of July".
With this award, the French Republic recognizes outstanding merits acquired in the service of France. The National Order of the Legion of Honour ("Ordre National de la Légion d’Honneur") is the highest French order of merit, both military and civil.
